On March 6, 2025 from 18:00 to 19:30 we invite you to an event with lectures and a workshop on “Female pioneers in agriculture”. Together we will take a look at how the role of women* in agriculture has developed over time, where we are today and how we can shape a fair and sustainable future.
Gender equality is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 5) of the United Nations. Without gender equality, there can be no sustainable future - not even in agriculture. Women* are a driving force in the agricultural sector: they contribute to food security, develop innovative solutions and impart essential knowledge. Nevertheless, there are structural hurdles that need to be overcome together.
